The Mission Ministry of Worthington Presbyterian Church is responsible for mission and outreach activities at Worthington Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Jonathan Hauerwas is the staff liaison and Elder Brenda Galbo serves as chair. Additional members include elders Joan Patton, Casey Smiley and Sharon Tipton. Co-opted members are Cathy Bassani, John Beck, Mary Dahs, Beckie Dicke, Kara Hauerwas, Milo Hilty, Pam Hume, Tanya Irelan and Sarah Shaffer. 

Dick Patton, Mission Activity Coordinator
Dick's aim is to help our church locate appropriate volunteers for the various mission projects of this congregation. This will involve coordinating service needs with the project chairs of the Mission Ministry, chairperson, and the Associate Pastor of Mission. Dick will seek to match the skills that members possess with the needs of our projects. This will involve calling members on behalf of the church and discussing and assessing individual's interest in serving the church through our mission programming. Dick Patton is retired from The Ohio State University where he served as an administrator in the Medical Center. He graduated from the Methodist Theological Seminary with a Masters in Christian Education. Dick has served Worthington Presbyterian Church as a youth advisor and Director of Youth Programs. He has energetically assisted with our Campus Ministry program for the last four years.
